Sociology as a science
On the whole,social life does not consist of a series of random events: under most conditions ,society and its processes are ordered and patterned.Consequently, sociology is able to employ the same general methods of investigation that all sciences do,and to use it's findings to make reasonably reliable generalizations. Like natural scientists,construct theories,collect and analyze data,conduct experiments and make observations,keep careful records and try to arrive at precise and accurate conclusions
